Meet the Coaches

Joe Sullivan

Joe is in his 24th year of coaching. He started at Dobson High School in 1989. He then moved on to coach at Mountain View High School in 1992 where he currently is today. While at MVHS he has helped the team to 12 State Championships or Runner-Ups. He was the Arizona Track Coach of the year in 1997. Joe has coached 17 State Champions or Runner-ups in the pole vault. He was also the Heat Stroke founder in 2006. He Pole Vaulted at MCC with a PR of 16'8".

Mark Hilliker

Mark coached track for 28 years at Westwood High School. For 11 years he was the boys head track coach with three state championships. He was twice named "Arizona track coach of the year" and coached 23 individual state champions.
