HISTORY 2006 - Present



The Heat Stroke Pole Vault Club was started in 2006. The intent is to promote the greatest sport known to men and women. It was also started to allow younger pole vaulters ages 12 - 18 to learn to fly. We are based at Mountain View High School

Club Schedule


Session One starting September 14th and ending October 7th, is for "ONLY" brand new pole vaulters or (0 - 9 feet). This session is set up for athletes who want to try pole vaulting for the first time or for athletes who have pole vaulted 0 - 9 feet. It is 4-weeks long, 3-Days a week a total of 12 practice sessions. By the end of this session you will know if pole vaulting is for you.
COST: $120.00 + $20.00 to USATF = $140.00

Session Two starts in November and goes through the end of Janurary. This session is for BEGINNING, INTERMEDIATE, and ADVANCED. It is suggested that first time athletes new to pole vaulting sign up for Session I in order to see if pole vaulting is for you because it is a shorter commitment.
Session Two is 12 weeks long and is broken up into Two groups.

Group A is for returning pole vaulters 9' and higher and is 4 days per week. It includes two days of pole vault work and two days of Olympic Weight Lifting.
A total of 48 practice sessions. COST: $410.00 + $20.00 for USATF renewel in January.

Group B is for brand new to the event pole vaulters and newer Pole Vaultes who just finished Session I or 0 - 8'6" pole vaulters. It includes 3 days per week of of pole vault work.

A total of 24 practice sessions. COST: $260.00 + $20.00 for USATF renewel in January
